From big idea to real business.

Slopefolk is a talent, jobs and qualifications platform for the snowsports industry. Its founder had been sitting on the idea for years. Supasonic helped him turn it into a business, from the plan and the brand to the app, the content and the route to market. Slopefolk launches in 2027.

The brief

The founder knew the industry inside out. A former instructor who has also worked on the resort side, he had seen how slow it is to find a qualified instructor for the season, on both sides of the hire. He had the vision. What he didn’t have was a way to take it further.

The business

We started with the business, not the logo. Together we built out the business plan, tested the market fit and shaped the model, so every design and build decision after that had a reason behind it.

What we built

The brand, from scratch: a mountain emblem split by an S-shaped piste and a bold wordmark that works on a jacket as well as a screen.

Then the app, in three parts: vetted instructor profiles, a jobs board for resorts and ski schools, and a qualifications pathway for instructors who want to progress.

Alongside it, a library of digital assets for social and a promo video that explains the idea to instructors and resorts in under a minute.

Go-to-market

We built the go-to-market strategy around the founder’s existing resort relationships, so Slopefolk launches with people who already know and trust him.

Brand bible & CMS

We wrote Slopefolk’s brand bible: one source of truth for the logo, colours, type, tone of voice and rules, so everything the team puts out looks and sounds like them, whoever makes it.

Then a custom CMS: a simple dashboard behind the site where the team can update case studies, publish news and blog posts, and edit pages themselves, with an analytics dashboard showing who is visiting, what they read and where enquiries come from. No code, no waiting on a developer, and nothing they change can break the layout.

The result

Slopefolk launches in 2027. An idea that sat on the shelf for years now has a business plan, a brand, an app and a plan to reach market. The founder is living out the dream he started with.

I’d had the idea for Slopefolk rattling around in my head for years. Supasonic helped me work out how to turn it into a proper business, then brought the whole thing to life, from the brand to the app and everything we need to launch. Seeing it all come together has been brilliant. We’re launching in 2027, and I’m absolutely buzzing to get it out there. It’s finally happening!
